smells of Spring! Our neighbors have a whole bed of Lily of the Valley, across the street are lilacs... spring breezes, people laughing, coming home to a homecooked dinner, getting a paycheck, my ten-year-old Honda that just keeps cooking along... what a great topic! Thanks everyone for sharing all your great word pictures!!! :) :) :)

My daily walks along the beach.
Coming "home" with home being wherever my family is.

Hearing one of your children giggle.

Holding a new grandchild for the first time.

Touching my husbands hand to let him know I'm here and I love him.

The smell of watermelon and that first bite... yum.

The cat sitting on my lap, purring.

Hearing music played by my children.

Seeing a hummingbird dart to the feeder.

I could go on and on, life is just so wonderful if you really think of it and take time to thank the Lord for the simple things. Thank you for starting this post. I needed this today.

Seeing my 21 yr old son playing with his younger siblings. I can sit and watch for hours.

Playing with my fabric stash. LOL You got to be a quilter to understand that one.

Napping under a newly finnished quilt.

Waking up in the morning & going to bed at night next to my DH.
Hearing my 10 yr old DGS call "I love you Mimi" across the house.
Getting that "can I sit on your lap?" look from 1 of our fur babies.
Standing back from a partially finished project and thinking "I do like this".
Getting hugs & thankyous on graduation night from our seniors (tonight- look out world the class of 2011 is coming!!
And most important opening my Bible in the morning to read God's love letter.

Seeing the sun rise behind the mountains and the clear reflection of the mountains in the lake, that my DD & I cross early every morning on the way to school. Only one more year of doing this, she will be a senior this fall. :(

Getting to catch up with the board here once or twice a week. :)

Oh there are so many to choose from like....
The warmth of the sun on my face

Watching the sunrise and the sunset everyday. No two are the same.

Sitting on the porch with a big glass of sweet tea and listening to all the birds while I'm enjoying all the flowers that are in bloom.

Having one of my sons call and say Love You Mom.

Sleeping in on my day off.

That first cup of coffee in the morning.
