Hubs is having problems sleeping. Its been going on for awhile now. He says he feels miserable all over when he lays down. Hes not in pain, he just feels miserable. I had this many years ago and it just finally went away. It feels like your skin is crawling or something, hard to explain how it feels. Also whenever he does doze off he jerks alot. Any ideas?

He needs to talk to his doc about restless leg syndrome, could be related. Sleep issues are a BIG deal, pay attention. My Dad died from a heart condition triggered by sleep apnea.

Sorry about your Dad Pam

Hubs doesn't have the symptoms of sleep apnea.
RLS might be a possibility.

Hmmm. I'd have him make a doc appointment. Is he taking any new meds, either over the counter, prescription, or herbal? They didn't leave something in during his colonoscopy did they (only kidding). Go to WebMD and put in the symptoms and see if anything comes up. I'd still have him see the doc, though.

So sorry to hear your DH is having sleep troubles.I jerk and jump a lot myself, only the past few years since I am older now. Maybe its restless leg symdrome, I also had and still have problems with sleeping. I had been on some nasty pain meds, the Dr. has taken me off about 1 month ago, had a real bad 8 days of withdrawls, but still have some trouble with sleeping. If its nothing like above, maybe he should go to a sleep study lab and get checked out. Its not good if your body cannot get the rest it needs. Sleep helps us repair our bodies and minds. Lace
