Sleeping Problems

I have those same feelings sometimes. I call it the heebie jeebies. I've been taking Trazadone and Tylenol PM before bed with a small glass of milk and it seems to help me. Definitely agree that he should visit his doctor.

Sounds like RLS to me but it also could be a delayed reaction to the anesthesia, didn't he have surgery not too long ago? Or was it happening before that? Either way, he needs to tell his doctor about it. It could even be nerves and if it's that, it's easily treated--.5mg Lorazapam 30 minutes before bedtime will fix him right up. That's what I used to take when my nerves made my skin feel buggy.

You never know. I really didn't show the common symptoms of sleep apnea either. It was a rude awakening when I was in the hospital for the first time with surgery about 7 years ago. With Oxygon on that night my O2 stats were 78. Not good! Doctor sent me immediately for a sleep study. I never do things the normal way--I go into deep sleep within about an hour and I stay there all night. Not normal. My 02 stats for my sleep study went down to the high 50's. Definitely not normal. You just never know what can be going on in your body. It is best to check it out.
