At first, my husband provided ignorance and apathy and then one day someone told him I did beautiful work. It was like a light went off in his head. Since then, when I ask him for input on whatever project I am working on, he actually pays attention and gives good feedback. He was very delighted when I told him he had good color sense and just glows when I tell someone that he helped to pick out the border or a certain block. Who knew? He says it will be a cold day when he starts quilting but he's gone quite far so far so I am not going to be surprised one day when he wants to share the sewing room. Just maybe heartsick.
