Have you noticed them going up? Around here some of the places have put astronomical prices on things, including simple JUNK!

I think it's due to our economy. Before, when the economy was good, everyone prefered to buy new....now we have more and more people buying used because they can't afford new anymore, and because of that the prices are going up....

~sigh~

Our thriftstores have always been on the expensive side... now they are getting ridiculous LOL
I think it is because most are calling themselves "antique" shops  :D:D:D

I noticed this sometime ago on just simple vases. And looking for anything is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Seems like there are 2nd hand stores poping up everywhere. If you had time to check them out you might find a bargain.

The grocery store is what gets my goat. My coffee downsized their can a year or so ago. Now the price went up $3.00 to $12.95.

Darn, coffee and butter are two things that I have to use as 'real' food.

Know what you are saying. Went shopping for company yesterday and Dh almost went into shock when he saw what I had to spend for food products.

Yeah! If you ever posted or looked on Craig's list? Used to U could find just about anything, now U have to look, look & look. Since businesses posted there are wayyyy too many to view. I've posted somethings for sale & when I go back to view it, it's wayyyy down the list. Each pg is 100 posts I think. Things are cheaper tho because everyone needs some extra cash.
