It is the second of May and the temperature right now is +33 degrees. It is totally cruddy outside, no sunshine, just grey - can't even see clouds. So much for global warming! Grass is green and growing, but perennials are nowhere, can't put in seeds which I generally do around the first of May. Honestly, it is dank, damp, windy, just down and out miserable. It does not depress me, because God plans the day for us, so I make lemonade out of lemons. But I wish the sun would come out. This Minnesota white is so anemic looking and everyone knows where I am from!!!!!!! But like the song goes "The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be sun"
and I am holding Annie to that one!!!!!

Make your own sunshine! Edie

This is the best spring I can remember since I moved to Georgia in 76. Everything is blooming and my tomatoe plants already have tomatoes on them the sixe of a tennis ball. Sorry I can't send you all some sunshine. It has been hot but not humid as usual.

But if you already had nice, warm weather just think how hot and miserable your summer would be. You're pretty far north to be expecting June weather in late April or early May.

I hear you I am tired of this weather, still putting wood in the fruance to keep warm, a day here and there a little springy but then cloudy, rain and gale force winds. Please just a little spring would be nice? Hope summer is better then this! And winter need to hold off until at least Dec since it held on so long this year!!!!

We had one nice day yesterday in Oregon. Almost 70. Today, stormy and raining. I will take it over tornadoes any day.
