Squaring Knit Fabric?

Here are the results. The photo is a little peculiar because it's daytime and they're closed with the light on. It gives you a pretty good idea of how sheer the fabric is. Thank you, bearisgray, macybaby, and those of you who wrote supportive, drama-free replies.

I am late to the party. Your drapes look good and will stay that way because there is little stretch vertically. My input: You can't square a knit fabric because it is made in a tube and then cut on one side. Consequently, the crosswise threads run at a slight angle spiraling down to the next round, as opposed to a woven which goes back and forth in a complete motion. You have to find a straight vertical rib, fold there, and let the edges fall where they may. I like your fabric.

I pretty much figured that out trying to handle the fabric and get it to behave. (It's a pain to work with.) I just measured multiple times so the length would be as even as possible. They're not perfect but - good enough.
