ROFL, or use them to practice needle-turn applique! Daisies and ladybugs, maybe?

Boy, do I feel smug!
Pat realizes that if he wants pants hemmed, there is a very inexpensive and precise alteration store on his way to work. He should take them there and not bother me with "mending." I'll mend a broken heart - but on pants the seams will pull apart.....

Asking a quilter to mend is like asking Monet to paint a garage.

(Not quite the original saying I saw, but don't remember which famous painter's name was used. Same idea.)

***shaking my head*** You may have set a precedence
DH does know that this is not to be a regular occurrence, right
It could traumatize you and the only cure is to buy more fabric and go on a quilting retreat for a week or two 8-) 8-) 8-)

My DH mentioned a pair of missing pajama bottoms the other day. He doesn't know what happened to them. Should I remind him he gave them to me about a year ago to hem???

Oh Gosh,
Now you've done it. You've reminded me of that big stack I promised to hem for my DH.
Oh, and I felt so good with all that I caught up with this weekend!
