Yeah, I'm watching Precious too. Right now she's backed up to the wall holding that foal in!! Poor thing really does look like she's going to burst! Maybe she's cooking twins in there! :shock:

And even though Kay says they really don't eat all that much, she sure got through that block of hay fast enough! I think she really is fat!!! She doesn't even seem uncomfortable!

Kay's cam is down, so I checked on Precious too. She is soooo ROUND! Barely any backbone showing, not like "our" girls got when the foals dropped. They do have her tail wrapped or plaited now, and she's just waddling around the stall....

Yeah, I've been doing Mare Stare on Precious now. I even put the laptop next to the bed when I sleep, so I can roll over and open an eyeball and see if there's any progress before I go back to sleep.

Kay, does it make a noise in the stall that the horse can hear, or only at the other end?
I had a dream that she went into labor and I called the number and the person said "Who is this?" and I said "One of Kay Baxters Mare Stare Group"!!!

Im not sure if the mare can hear it or not?? I imagine they would at least hear a buzzing sound while the alarm goes off in the house. Poor Joanne I know she got a lot of calls the night before last as people were sure she was in labor. I have to wonder when a mare goes this far over if the date was right. Sometimes us breeders screw them up LOL (as you all know)
I am having so much trouble with my stupid cam. I gave up yesterday. Harley is doing much better!!! But he really wants to play with Rumor. Im going to let him out of the pen for a bit today.
Maybe I can talk Kyle into moving the cam today LOL

Poor Joanne! I'm sure she's ready to pull her hair out. I've been reading the posts on the forum and everyone wants Precious to foal. lol
Precious is just laying there like a slug.
But, I do think that within the next 12 hours she's going to have a beautiful filly. Well...that's MY prediction! But, what do I know?
