What does busting mean? Never heard of this term! Can't figure out what it could possibly mean!

Trying to use it up your material that you have before buying more. Can be extremely hard to do, especially when you get notices of good sales. Oh heck, just a notice of a sale.LOL

I consider it a great day when I stitch up more fabric than I purchase! Since I have a stash I must lean a little ( a lot) toward purchasing. Great contest I am in!

I should do some stash busting. LOL I probably need to live to be at least 400 years old, maybe even 500, especially at the rate I'm using it up and also adding to it. LOL

I thought I was stash busting....but as I'm binding one quilt, it seems I'm finding "deals" I can't pass up. So, I think I'm doing the same thing with my stash as I am with my weight.........basically staying in the same place! No loss...no gain! HA!

Hi June, this is how I understand "fabric busting". To split, cut (fabric) ...then sew back together into a quilt, thereby reducing the quantity of fabric we have on hand (our Stash). Hope this makes some kind of sense to you

I am busting with the odd building thrown in. (If a deal is too good to pass up) Mostly I am just having a lot of fun quilting.

I've never had any trouble with building my stash

Currently, I'm trying to use some of it up.
