Enough to make you angry. I have all my packages delivered at work but guess what happened to me recently. I ordered the super large dresden plate template from a vendor and had it delivered at work. when it arrived at the front desk it was completely open with a piece of replacement tape holding the package together. I was madder than a trapped bee! somewhere between the postal service and my office someone opened my package. they must have thought it was something electronic since it was flat. I believe it was delivered to me because they didn't know what the template was and they didn't want it. I'm asking for my packages to be sent by FedEx, DHL or even UPS from now on. Forget the US Postal Service.

I just read a story like that yesterday when searching about stolen packages. The woman said she was home unexpectedly for a delivery and when she answered the door the delivery woman looked very surprised and hurredly handed her the package and almost ran away. She saw that the package had been opened and taped shut and then that the items were missing! She had to chase down the driver and confronted her. She said the driver was really nervous and they fruitelessly searched the truck. She then got a strange note from the driver that she was SURE that the items would turn up, almost promising they would be.

She didn't get the items and she was out $200. She believes the driver stole items or knew they were stolen.

I had packages go missing when they were delivered so I bought a gray stow-away. I left it on the front porch and left a note for the mailperson. When I have mail going out I put the packages in the stow-away and leave a flap open with a small card on the clip that says outgoing. Now the post person puts all packages in the stow-away and UPS and FedEx put the packages behind the stow-away so that can't be seen from the street. My neighbors both work and I collect packages from their doorstep as soon as the mail comes and I always leave a note on the door saying I have their packages. Once they are home they come over or I take them back. (If its icy they come get because I am not good on ice!) We all look out for each other and since I am the one who is always home due to disability I am the one that gets the packages.

My father used to say the only thing lower than a thief was a child molester/rapist.

I have been off work all week and I was hoping that my other deliveries would come but, of course they didn't. One is Monday and another is Wednesday and I can't stay home for them. Everything I have ordered since, I am having delivered to my work.

I set this up tonight with my webcam. The Logitech software has a motion detection video capture. I tested it out, walked quickly onto the porch and it worked good. I will tape the cord down and cover the laptop with a cardboard box because I also neet to cat-proof it.

This sign is also being taped to my front door when I leave in the morning!
My daughter & her neighbor both had packages stolen from their front doors when the thieves followed the UPS truck. However, her neighbor not only saw them but got their license number and they were subsequently caught. Although the pkgs. were properly returned, the neighbor insists on pressing charges. We are happy they got their stuff returned to them.

I'm so glad I live in the country. Nobody would dare come up our driveway. They would stick out like a sore thumb.

Instead of bad boys, it could be bad girls or women. What do boys want with fabric, unless they know how to sew or want to sell it to someone for cash. If they were hungry, why not knock on your door & ask for food? Wish idea to have packages sent to your work. Hope you catch whoever it is.
