this is absolutely horrid! These children will never forget this.

I do not know where you are but contact the rescue group in your area and see if the children can find puppies. I am sure the kids are heartbroken.

We just moved into a new house and had our Pom in the back yard. Went out to get him and he was gone. Have a fence in back yard

GrannyK so sorry. I know how that feels our "old man" 18 yr old Australian cattle dog died this weekend. He was a rescue dog left there when the renters moved. I feel so bad for the kids. I have a hard time with it being an adult.

Small dogs are a big item right now. I have a lhasa mix and in GA I didn't mind leaving him out because my daughter had two big dogs everyone was afraid of. Lots of noise.
Here there is no way for anyone to get into the back yard and he only stays out long enough to potty now. I think he misses his yard mates. Even though he doesn't want anything to do with other dogs he was use to them.
Sadly its today's world.
The only other thing I can think of besides some fool stealing your Pom if it was a small one and you have hawks or owls.I had a hawk try to go for a chi I was fostering.

My daughter let her brown Boston terrier out in the back yard and someone came along and grabbed her. My daughter 28 years of age went crazy and went up and down streets crying and calling her dog. Several streets away she found her dog the police had to be called as the woman who took the dog refused to give her back without $50 being handled over. After the police came they found this woman was involved with a thieves ring that did this. She still had to pay the money and made a complaint at the police station.

If it were me the only thing with a 5 in it the lady would have gotten was my fist in her face. Heaven help anyone that touches my dog and I find them.
I hope she got her money back anyway
