Has anyone checked out the site AmericanMadeProducts.com and maybe sold or listed some of their homemade items?
I notice they have a listing for bags/totes. However, I see nothing like the bow tuck totes we can make. Is there a regulation preventing us from selling those items on that site? I just kinda think some of you should sell some of your items there since they are really NEAT and I think there is a demand out there for them Made in America. I personally do not sew enough to sell items but think it would be a great outlet for others. Any comments?

Just a guess but the pattern copyrights most likely prevent sales on a website like that. Now if you came up with your own bag pattern then the world is your oyster! ;)

I have not checked out that site, but you might need to be sure of their definition for American Made, to be certain that your items will qualify.

We have a store here locally (Buffalo NY area) that is all about made-in-America. But what determines whether an item is made here? Is it just the craftsmanship or final assembly that must take place in America? Or is it where all - or the majority - of the materials are made?

I would love to sell table linens to that local store! But I cannot find any American-made fabrics that I really like. Cranston/VIP stopped printing here a couple of years ago. Santee still prints in the US, but I don't care for their designs.

I noticed a little ribbon next to each product....appears each item as to have at least 51% or more "made in USA" or "assembled in USA" but it's a start!
