I am not a football fan myself. Never really understood the whole point of the game. What I don't like about it is that in this area politicians are so afraid the professional sports teams will up and move that they give them pretty much whatever they want. Its just corporate welfare, plain and simple. Our county gave the local team a million dollar score board??? This is the same county that is laying off teachers and police. Don't even get me started about the drunks in the parking lot 8 hours before a game starts. Guess you could put me down as a "makes no difference if its back on tv or not".

My DH likes all sport but has in the last few years decided he prefers Australian (sp?) football, and Soccer. Of course we have to be knowledable about scoccer, 4 out of 6 grand daughters play.

I do NOT watch professional sports. This afternoon after church I went out and did some shopping. Then I came home and took a nice nap. In a few minutes (after I get off my computer), I am heading up to my sewing room. DH is happy watching football. I could care less.
