I was planning on a nice quiet Christmas. Our celebration is always at my sister's house because the majority of the family belongs to her. All I have to do is show up with a green bean casserole. My brother and his wife live out of town and don't usually visit us for Christmas but they had a change of plans over there and decided to come here to surprise our parents. They'll stay with me..... but I just found this out. So now I have to go grocery shopping again, maybe buy a couple extra gifts, clean the house which nobody was supposed to see, (how'd I let it get this messy) and keep it all a secret. But it will all be worth it to see Mom and Dad's faces! :D

This sounds like a great time in the making! Your parents will be so thrilled to see your brother and his wife, the surprise alone will be worth the effort.

Have a great holiday!

Love it. That is what its all about.. being with family. We dont have much family left and its kinda sad this time of year. Now, that being said....I also feel for you having to clean house and extra shopping. BUT..you will have a great time. Enjoy and Merry Christmas..
