Wanted Surrogate Mother
I have an 18 year old daughter and 9 month old grand baby in Norfolk Va, Her husband is out to sea with the Navy. They need to come inland before the hurricane hits. If anyone lives 3 or 4 hours from Norfolk and wouldn't mind having company for a few days I would greatly appreciate you having them. I live in Texas and she can't drive that far with the baby by herself. Please PM me and I will let her know your info.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I'm on the coast of NC so no help there but I have been in her shoes several times. My husband was a marine for 26 years. He always had to fly the birds away during these times so I was left home with 2 babies and pets. Tell her to get hold of her husbands unit for instructions on what to do. They will help if she can't leave. The FRO should be giving info out if they have one. Gob Bless You All!

hope everyone is going to be ok during this storm. what weird weather we are having. One day in the 90's cool down to 60's and then back up again. Winter is coming sooner than we think I am afraid. Animals are getting strange too.

The Navy has people who will help her while the ship is out. I'm on the coast of Va. so I will be no help. Good luck to your daughter and grandchild.

I'm outside DC so no help either. But have her contact the ombudsman for her husband group/ship. They will be able to get her a safe place to stay and any support that she needs.

Her best and quickest help maybe to call the Navy base and tell them of her predicament... they usually take pretty good care of their families...
