I had planned a quilt along to start by now. I have the quilt designed and in keeping with the spirit of this past summer's 9P project it was to be a stash buster. BUT, 3am Tuesday morning I awoke to find my DD had thrown in a load of laundry and gone out. The machine had a breakdown and never stopped filling! In fact, it filled my livingroom, kitchen, dinningroom, hallway and daughter's room.

So...atm I have no flooring, furniture damage, 3 rooms dismantled, no sewing area and a lot of work ahead! Luckily my machines survived and most of my fabric and other quilting things but a lot of the other furniture is toast.

Needless to say my little quilt along will have to wait. I am posting from my nookcolor that Santa brought me. At least I can still keep up with all you!

((((Hugs))))
I have been there!!!!

I just had 2 "small" leaks this last week. Got some fabric wet from water dripping thru ceiling. Cabinest are wet. Also in the kitchen from separate leak from Ice Maker water inlet.

I'm sure his intentions were golden. Sorry for all the hassle you'll have the next few days.

Fully understand!!Had this happen here two years ago in our basement family room and bedroom. So much ruined , including a quilt I had planned to donate to a historical society. I don't even have a picture of it!!
