I just went to t he dollar Store and bought a pump bottle of hand sanitizer for each of us in the family. This way the guys can each have one for at work. They all work with the public. and handwashing is not always available to them.
I was just thinking, what if you take a box of diaper wipes and add a bottle of alcohol to it. Would this make the wipes more disinfecting???I could use that in the car and take one or two into the store with me to wipe up the cart handle.
We live in the city and things sound really ugly from all the news coverage.

Our local grocery store has handwipes as you walk in. Use them on the handle of the cart, etc. I am not sure if alcohol will disinfect? Everything helps. Keep those hand sanitizers handy - that's a great idea. I am old enuf to remember when you didn't have to worry about this.

I just read this in my local paper. I'm actually getting very nervous about this.

Flu virus expert talks about swine flu. He's the go to guy when the government needs to know.

I'm also concerned. I live right down the street from another elementary school that they may be closing, already closed one and one suspected case at the high school down the street from me too. I go to the convenience store next to the elementary school all the time.

Yesterday I was hot all day and broke out in dripping sweat a couple of times. Now a headache and a touch of sore throat. I didn't know about the schools near me until today but when I found out I called my VP at work that I report to and told him I was going home.

I can do almost everything from home that I can do at work since I can get onto the company network from here. I'll go to my doctor tomorrow to rule out swine flu. Probably just a cold but just to be sure...

More then likely you will be tested for Swine Flu. They are testing everyone who goes to the doctor with ANY kind of flu symptom. Hopefully it's that virus for you and that whatever you have goes away quick! Keep us updated! (((Hugs))) to you!

Typicallhy we all over react to "disasters". But I certainly agree with the hand washing, hand washing, hand washing! Yes, I thought of the STAND also.
