I looked on map and oakridge registers by nashville...That's ok. We thought knoxville originally. Do you consider your winters from Nov thru March like we do? Thanks for your info :-D LOVE that there are alot of quilt shops!!

Yes we love Brooks bbq too! That place is always busy! That's because the food is so good! They are getting snow up there too. But this storm missed them. So they're not what we are down here. 2 years ago we went to baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown. It was good. A boy that worked there had been flirting with my daughter and following us the whole time we were there. He just about followed us out the door... my daughter 17 at the time was amazed. And no he never got her number!!

that is because we never get snow here, well not until this year and we used to not have any snowplows or ice trucks. In 1993 we had a blizzard (first one ever) shut down interstates, schools churches, backroads etc most people were moving by the next day until it packed down to ice then we had to wait til the next day to get out. some didn't get out for 5 or 6 days, power was out for 3 or 4 days to some NOT all but we only got 30inches. We just aren't used to this stuff because we hardly ever get it.
"winter doesn't usually start until january and ends by mid- march. temps at thanksgiving can be as high as 68 or as low as 45.
