First thing this morning, I poured myself coffee, and as I sat down to drink it, my cell phone fell out of the pocket of my robe. When I picked it up, nothing. Dead. I had to go to Radio shack to replace it without spending a fortune. When I put the sim card in, I discovered I had lost all my pictures! I am so glad I used my DGD picture on here as my avatar! I was able to retrieve a copy, so I still have one, thank God.

As if that wasn't enough stress for one day, I also attempted to change my ISP today. Was promised lightening fast speed, what I got was slower than molasses. When i called to complain, I was told "Oh, that is normal where you live. It doesn't take long to get used to it." If I pay $.50 more a month, to my old provider, I am back up to slow motion speed. I am open to suggestions on ISP's if you know of an inexpensive on that has service in Oregon.

And, How was your day?

Dial up services don't really vary much in speed if your phone lines are antiquated... cable internet is faster but more expensive too, and not available in remote areas. Some go with sattelite, but it can be expensive also. :D:D:D

Yes, I have tried EVERYWHERE to get faster internet. Are lines out here are old, andwe are far from the cities and towns. The only thing I could get faster was satilite, and that would be over 70.00 a month! OUCH!

We just hooked up with hughes.net DSL. No set up fee and 60.00 a month. I can't believe how much faster than dial-up it is.

Would you believe that I think I have an invasion of Gremlins!!!! As if the above wasn't enough to drive me crazy, today my printer decided it was done working until it gets to see a repairman! Now, I am afraid to touch my new machine. I got DH to put it away for me. (No way was I going to touch it.) I am now sewing on old faithful from Walmart! I wonder how long gremlins live?
