Thanks everyone for your support...

Hubby and I talked tonight and it's offical and I have let my family know I wont be making it to the reunion this year...

I am broken hearted about it but between his new job, money issues, my health issues and a few other minor details We will NOT be going...

He did say that we would get away as a family (well us and the 2 boys our daughter doesn't live at home anymore) at least for a weekend...It will most likely have to be a holiday weekend and we can't go too far incase he gets called in ...He did on memorial day but we are going to go somewhere and do something...

I am not sure it will actually happen cause I have heard that since last fall but I am gonna try to make it happen...

thanks for all the thoughts and prayers...hopefully next year

Is there internet service where they will be? Why not connect together and chat via webcam. Next best thing as being there! I am sorry to hear you cannot go to your reunion.

I am sorry you want be going to the reunion but a few days away with the fhubby and kids will give you a life time of memories. Enjoy the time with your kids because they will be grown in the blink of a eye.

I'm sorry about you not being able to connect with family, but everyone will understand. In our family at no time in our lives has everyone been in one place at the same time.

Have family take a lot of pictures and you can look at them to see who has gained weight, who has gained a new spouse, who has had a new baby, etc. And send them some recent pictures of your own immediate family, they will be glad to see them.

Maybe next year, God willing.

Yes I agree -a webcam is a great idea. There are many at about $30 and you can see everyone to say HI.
