I don't want to know who it is. They deserve their privacy. Let's just know 'em as quilters!

I didn't know this, but I am honored to be doing something Sally Fields does. I have long admired her as a person and an actress.

wouldn't it be fun to imagine what famous people you would invite to a quilting retreat?......I would start with Carol Burnett, I have loved her since I was a little girl and think she would be fabulous at a retreat and keep us all laughing, especially if she came down the stairs in the Scarlett costume with the curtain rod in it!

Not a quilter but I can tell you all that Rod Stewart is an avid model train enthusiast. Perhaps Rabid is more appropriate than avid, he's very serious and VERY talented. He hand builds all his little buildings from scratch.

Edith Nesbit, the woman who wrote The Railway Children, used to quilt. She made large quilts out of very small hexagons made with English piecing. However, she might not have been what most would define as a 'celebrity'(?)
