I don't have a problem with anyone inspiring anybody to try something new. How could that possibly be bad?

In the short term, it can run up prices if it turns into a craze. But I think in the long term the benefits are more than worth it.

Or, it could encourage new quilt shops and related businesses, which we could all benefit from.

I'm a glass-half-full kinda girl, can you tell?

Not to mention that it would support the shops that already exist.

I am not convinced that Marie Osmond really quilts....but I don't care either way. She is a brand. Slap your name on a product and get paid. She just needs to sew a seam to be called a quilter. My 2 cents.
