Cool Are there any celebrities that quilt?

I was wondering this the other day. I know you see celebrities knitting, painting, and embroidering, but I never hear about any that do quilting for a hobby. Are there any?

Marie Osmond is the only one that comes to mind -- Martha Stewart has done everything at some time!

The actress who plays Nina on "The Young and the Restless" is a serious quilter. I saw her on the old "Simply Quilts" show and she had pictures of a sewing studio in her back yard which her husband had made. She and (? can't remember her name, Crystal or Cricket?-- blond and plays a lawyer) are good friends. She was making a Crazy Quilt for her as a wedding present. It had some gorgeous embellishments. A couple of years ago the hot trend seemed to be knitting. I'm not sure if quilting will ever be a trend in Hollywood, it requires commitment of time and effort I'm sure few stars are willing and able to make.

The woman who plays Lt. Van Buren, S. Epatha Merkerson, is a quilter. I saw her on a show that was touring celebrity homes and she showed her sewing room. I've also read that she likes to shop at The City Quilter in NYC.

Dr. Bailey on Grey's Anatomy quilts and is very much connected with quilts for children in hospitals. She was showcased in a quilt magazine.

No, don't do it. don't tell. privacy is a very nice thing. and to be like for yourself, and not who you are.

I don't want to know who it is. They deserve their privacy. Let's just know 'em as quilters!

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet.

I didn't know this, but I am honored to be doing something Sally Fields does. I have long admired her as a person and an actress.

wouldn't it be fun to imagine what famous people you would invite to a quilting retreat?......I would start with Carol Burnett, I have loved her since I was a little girl and think she would be fabulous at a retreat and keep us all laughing, especially if she came down the stairs in the Scarlett costume with the curtain rod in it!
