Do you always get special offers from credit card companies, life insurance companies, and insurance companies??

Wel I used to - heres what i did - If the offer comes with a postage paid envelope, write take me off your list then cram everything they sent sent you back to them in their postage paid envelope. (The envelopes they send are pretty small because all they want is the reply card) They dont have to pay postage if you dont mail them anything but they do if you mail something back so send everything. It makes them pay extra postage and they will take you off their list - may take a couple of tries since some of their mailings are given to outside company to mail and send so they cant stop those.

Give it a try and see if it works!! Now if there was a way to stop the political mailings and phone calls lol

Great idea. Wonder if we could stick a rock in there too.

I worked at a post office for 8 years and a few times we rec'd those postage paid envelopes back with a small brick with it wrapped around it and had to ship it. They paid too. Silly thing to do but I like the paper idea. I am starting this tomorrow. especially those pesky magazine people. Thanks for the post.

Sometimes I stuff the envelope with as much other junk mail as I can, depending on how cranky I feel that day.

Why work so hard? Just use all the offers in your fireplace. You can heat your home with them.

I may have to try that. Less junk mail would be great.

I don't know if it is the same on your computers, but at the bottom on this thread on my computer an ad for Bank of America Cards popped up ... isn't that what we were just discussing ... ha ha ...
