The computer generated phone calls are just plain irritating.
If you receive computer generated calls just keep hitting the star key and it throws your number out so you wont be called again-have only done it once but it seemed to have worked. Also if you havent done business with these people you can wait and talk with someone eventually tell them you are on no call list and one more call will generate complaint to attorney generals office...how do they know if you are actually on no call list!!!

I have decided three things in life are certain - death, taxes, and once you get on the "Endless Pool" or "Tempurpedic mattress" mailing list, you NEVER get off. I am thinking of having a mail slot cut into my headstone, I am sure they will still be sending them to me after I am gone.

Only $6000 for a bed but if you act now you will get 2 free pillows. What a deal.

At least those car warranty people have stopped calling. They used to call 5 or 6 times a day.

Some people sign up for any and everything, so they can get more junk mail. Then you get one of these:

Free fuel, delivered to your door!

If they "really" knew my credit score, they wouldn't be sending me those offers.........LOL

I just toss them in the burn barrel and torch them.

That's kinda cool although I would worry about the colored ads (poisoning from the ink).

Someone told me that if you hit the * button over and over it kicks your name out of computer and you wont get those - In Missouri we have a no call list and that has helped tremend...unfortunately the no call list doesnt include political calls...

When my parents were alive I changed their address so all their mail would be sent here. My parents have been gone over ten years now and I still get their junk mail ocassionally!!
Mom had a cell phone in her name -after she died I went to office to cancel her phone but they told me they wouldnt cancel phone contract without a hefty cancellation fee!! I told them to go ahead and bill mom-maybe she would call them from the heavens and make payment..they finally quit charging and reversed charges but it took several months and me calling each month...hard to believe!!! But true cheryl
