Default Quick cross body bag from pencil case....

I saw this inexpensive pencil case at the local Staples and thought it would make a great small purse. I used it a few times while travelling this summer, and decided it would be even better with a cross body strap - so I added one!
I happened to find a fabric to match fairly closely in my stash....

Very good Idea. It shows you think outside the box.

Clever...what's the reverse side look like? If it has no pockets you could embellish that side to personalize it even more.

Great idea! .... As quilters, we can be so innovative!

I also purchase pencil cases etc. ... and strip them for the zippers!
This started out of necessity, as few stores sell zippers and I found what I wanted in this way.
Plus what a cost saving compared to buying the zippers, as such.
