This will be a first for myself.......so I am asking for help. This December is our annual honey festival, so a friend and I are considering having a craft booth of homemade items. Since it's so late in the year, any ideas to whip up would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for items to be made by sewing. Please help.

Criss cross coaster might sell well. Do a search on here, there is a great tute on a blog. I made 13 yesterday in just over an hour using up scraps.

Tree ornaments, Mug rugs, potholders, pincushions, table runners, aprons, small bags/purses. That's a few I can think of right now.

Some Christmas-y items would be nice to sell but I would also make items people could buy for gifts that are not Christmas related. I do not like to give a gift that is so seasonal that someone will just be putting it away for a year. Mug rugs, coasters, purses, placemats/napkins, etc. might be good sellers.

I use to go to craft shows and made baby blankets, my sister made soft sculpture dolls and sold out everything.
Interestly a lady was across the walkway from us and had the same dolls my sister made and they were so hard she never sold one in two days.

Aprons, baby bibs, mug rugs and placemats should all sell well. Good luck.

Great ideas, y'all! I can't thank you enough! I can't wait to get started on these.......................this is gonna be fun. I guess being in July I didn't even think about Christmas items. I just want to offer a wide variety of stuff, so these ideas are perfect! Making a list NOW, lol.
