What can you do to cure and stop your finger tips from being rough and snagging every thing that you touch. I wear gloves when I am at work. They just feel so terrible.

When I take a break, I put some Eucerin on my finger tips and put them in plastic gloves for an hour or so. I hate wearing them, too, but if I am watching tv chillin it gives me something to do. I'm always rubbing the finger tips. I do this after I've used harsh cleansers, too. My daughter uses chap stick, she calls it waxing those cracks so they can't get bigger. Hope you find your answers. When your hands are real dry, use fine sand paper, then use Hoof Maker..And I'm not kidding about this. I learned about this many years ago and am still using it, especially after a day out back in the yard. Soak in warm water and soap, rinse, almost dry, and then slop on Hoof Maker. It'll make your hands soft and smooth.

Horses do have great products!! I have the same problem. Here in Montana the air is very dry. Never had such dry hands when we lived in Washington state. Thanks for the tip on Hoof Maker, I am going to try it.

I use some stuff called Blue Goo. It's in with the foot stuff at Walmart. Small jar last a long time and works better than anything I've tried on my cuticles, elbows and heels.

Eucerin (original jar) or Vaseline on the fingertips at night, with cotton gloves worn on the hands to keep it in place while you sleep.

I have heard of Lotil (a cream) , others use superglue to hold them shut until they heal. I have not tried either one.

I use Gloves In A Bottle lotion, picked it up at a quilt shop.

COWS ALSO HAVE GOOD PRODUCTS: Try useing "Udder" cream ( I believe you can also buy this @ WM or a drug store) very good for chapped hands or anywhere on the body
