My DD just text to let me know it's snowing in Portland too. We are just coming back from Strawberry, Ca just to see the snow - oh, I know, city people....

Pab, I grew up in the bay area of California, and all we had was rain back then. When I moved here to eastern Oregon, I was so upset that first winter, as there was no snow.. I finally flew back to where I grew up, for the New Year, and when I returned home on Jan. 3rd, there was 3 feet standing in my yard at that time.. This storm that hit hasn't caused much of a heart beat to flutter, but then again, its not even in our worst snow season yet!

Lovely to look at, but so glad it is in Oregon and not here in NJ.

Hope that doesn't bring a blizzard down on us!

haha, Cathy.. seems like when we storm here, everyone else eventually gets it most of the time.. This time, I will not send it to your state.. I have the power of the snowball in my very hands.. oh wait, I have pocket warmers , guess the snow will melt before it gets to NJ!

Hi, we have about a foot in our back yard ( some melted, new stuff came ) and its still snowing here now, not hard, but steady.. They said 2 or 3 inches tonight, and some throughout the week.. Stay warm.. I am heading to bed, with three quilts, as I can't stay warm today..sigh.. I knew this hobby called quilting was good for something!!
