Those are beautiful. Of course he is disappointed who wouldn't be - to have something from from your heart and hands, but he understands that it is Mother Nature doesn't take things into account she just blows through. I am sure that these beautiful hearts coming from you and your husband will mean the world to him. Just think of how proud he will be when someone compliments and he can say my mom made them!

Sometimes we are limited to what can be done with circumstances that surround us. Your hearts are an asset. Did you machine embroider them? A great idea and will be much appreciated. Thanks for sharing.
