Default Any techies out there?

For a couple of days now, I cannot compose a new message in Hotmail or reply/forward an existing message. Yesterday, I sent an email to Outlook tech support (supposedly you receive a reply within 24 hrs.)....no reply yet.

Then today while on Amazon, I was unable to open a book ("Look Inside") to preview it.

We have IE, Windows 7. Never had this problem before.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Appreciate your help!!

Not a techie, but have you tried to close everything and restart your computer? That was the first thing I used to try.

I had a lot of difficulties with IE. My husband had me download Google Chrome:

and I have used that without problems for a long time. I have both options in my menu; I just click on the Google chrome icon to roam the net.

Microsoft has announced a major bug with Internet Explorer. Recommend using another browser while they 'fix' it.

I prefer Mozilla Firefox on my PC and Google Chrome on my Samsung tablet. In Firefox, I also downloaded Adblock Plus to eliminate ads. HUGE difference! I will never go back to IE.

I was going to mention this as well. I also use Mozilla Firefox on both the laptop and desktop. Frankly, no clue what I'm using on my tablet. The Adblock Plus on firefox is definitely the hot tip. Another one that won't go back to IE.

I have Windows 7 on my computer. I use Outlook 2010. I had a lot of problems and contacted Microsoft. They stated that they have a lot of Outlook working well with Windows 7. Tried the fixes they told me and did not fix problem.

There was a major security breach with Explorer and a virus. It is recommended you stop using IE until it is fixed. Go to another web browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
