Sorry for your loss. I know of this pain. This lovely animal was blessed to have his whole life lived in a loving, comfortable home and that is what you need to remember.

Cried when I read this... brought back memories of our dear Sonny. Lost him at 24. Breaks our hearts, but they brought so much love and laughter to our lives. Cherish your memories.

My Babe was 22 when she suffered a ruptured aorta. She too was a wonderful friend, teaching kids to ride when she was not yet 3 years old. Always kind and faithful. Had a sense of humor too. I like to think that when I get to heaven if I need certain of my four-legged family to be with me for me to be happy there that God will make sure that happens. I can think of several that I miss terribly. We have been blessed to have our Babes, Strutters, . . . Cherish your memories. Sending you hugs.
