Default Twenty four more work Mondays!

Hi everyone,
Twenty four more Mondays to teach until I start my early retirement from teaching! Can't wait to pour much more energy into crafting and quilting!

I have only 4 more to work! I am so excited! I'm retiring Jan. 1, but will be off the week of Thanksgiving and we get the last two weeks of December for the Christmas break, so I'll only be working 4 more. It's scarey, but exciting!

I think it's a positive announcement!
If you enjoy your retirement even 10% as much as I do, you will be extremely happy.

Congrats on your retirement. Thanks for all your years of teaching. Good teachers are so very important for our children.

Congratulations to you both!! Me, too--I have 4 more Mondays to work (I only work Mondays) and then I'm done for good after 44 years (40 of them full time) of working as a nurse. I'm excited but nervous. But it will be fun to answer people who ask " what do you do?" and I can say "I'm a quilter" instead of "I'm a nurse".

A special thanks to all of you teachers for the care you give to our kids. In todays world, many of you are the only positive person in a students life. Enjoy your retirement becaue you have earned it and God Bless you.

Congrats to you both. And one of the first things you are going to ask yourselves is "how in the world did I ever work a 40-hr week and get anything else done?" Because it will seem like you will be busier than you have ever been.
