Thanks for the pic, love looking at the snow, but hate living in cold climates. Lived in Idaho Falls and they have about 9 months of winter a year. Leaving tomorrow for the wonderful Gulf Shores of Alabama.

We live in LaPine -- south of Bend, Oregon ----- in Central Oregon. We're at 4300 feet -- and get more snow than Bend.

Oh - Chasing Hawk -- - I'm in your FRONT yard!!!! And, yes, the Himalayas have more snow. I think this is the "big year" --- it's been 7 years since a big snow!!!

Dee, Such beautiful photos! I just moved back to Grants Pass, Oregon after living in Grandfalls Texas (desert, dust, stickers and very little green, rain or snow)for over 3 years. We have just gotten settled into our new home and we had about a fourth inch of snow when we woke up this morning! It was so gorgeous! Maybe some day we can get together!
