I love looking at pictures of snow, but living in it, not so much.

I love seeing snow coming down and how pretty it makes everything look. Even how you can "hear" it coming down at times. But the older I get the more I dislike all the rest of what comes with it...ice, cold etc. That I don't enjoy anymore at all.

Moving from TX to TN like we did made me love the cold and snow for the first few years we lived here; but not no more--the falling snow is beautiful, but after a couple of hours I've had enough. It is too far from my house to my sewing room to wade out there when the snow is 4" deep......and as for traveling in the snow (my husband and I love to do road trips when we get too much cabin fever) no thanks; I'll just stick to my warm bed and a good book.

How very beautiful! I know snow is hard to live through but it sure is a wonderland where you are!
