Do any of you have any experience with this? I have a company that is interested in possibly using my voice for book narration, commercials, etc but I know nothing about the field. I had two college profs who also said I should market my voice, but I was not sure how to do it, or if I wanted to. I could sure use the $$$ right now! (more fabric, right?) :D

I don't know anything about it but you should go for it, if it's something you would like to do.

a friend does it for extra money...not much to it - they give you a script and you read it according to their inscructions. They then put the audio of your voice over the top of a video that someone else made to produce their final video. Good voices - without accent or impediment - can be used for many things and can get you that extra money you want for the shopping trips. good luck.

Paid to talk? Wow, if I could get paid to do something I do compulsively I'd be rich as Bill Gates. Once upon a time I was a trial (criminal defense) lawyer and had to learn to cut to the chase and be very careful in cross examination. I got very good at it but continue to chatter as in this post.

Time to walk the beasts and get to the charity quilting I'm doing for a fundraiser tomorrow for a family that lost their home to fire.
