Default Deer Hunting or Crafting

Ok, I am a deer hunter and I really look forward to the quiet time in the woods and seeing wild life, if I get a deer I do, if I don't oh well, there is next year.

But this year we had an awful windy cold opeining weekend and this weekend wasn't much better, except to add snow, so I found myself enjoying some time crafting instead of hunting.

I am still able to sit and enjoy the outdoors by looking out while I work, but now I am a jump ahead on getting things done in time for Christmas. (but I did go out once or twice to check out the hunting action)

These are what I got done, so far. Thanks for looking.

Cute ornaments! Maybe time to look into one of the hunting blinds that go over a chair. They have some awesome stuff nowadays to make sitting in the woods more comfortable.

It wouldn't be a tossup for me..........warm and cozy, vs cold and 'waiting'........the waiting part, I'm probably too impatient for, but glad you get to choose.

maybe a sewing machine set up in the deer stand to sew while I wait, with a heater of course. Maybe next year!

Congrats to those of you who got deer this year! Yum...venison! No deer (or moose) for my DH this year...too busy with household repairs (also no moose permit either) to hunt. There's always next year.

I stay home when DH hunts...too cold and there aren't any bathrooms out there! I'm at that "certain age" that when I need to go, I need to go! LOL
