Well, folks, it happened and it is pretty! I'm sure it won't last here but at least we got some. I was getting jealous about all the beautiful pictures people were posting :)

No reason to be jealous, we'd have gladly shipped some to you. Just kidding, I love all our snow. However, after New Years day I'll be ready for spring and there'll still be snow for a few more months. We've been known to have snow and ice here in central Illinois even in mid-April.

I touch it with my eyes! I lived in Albany NY for 2 years. Played/Walked/Ice skated in enough snow for a lifetime! Now I'm happy just looking at it!
Both my daughters were suppose to drive today so I'm worried they will go ahead and do it. One to Greenville NC and the other to Greensboro NC. Does anyone know what it's like in those places?

We're supposed to get part of that east coast storm...10-15 inches. Unfortuately I have to work a full day tomorrow. I will be walking the mile to get there. It should be pretty.

First big storm of the season here in Massachusetts - supposed to be blizzard conditions and continue into Monday. Up to a foot of snow expected. As long as it stops Monday night and my husband can snow blow our driveway clear all will be fine. I will be having my 2 grandnieces (ages 5 and 8) for 3 days and plan to have fun!
