We had several cats over the years....one white cat particularly loved resting behind the sewing machine where she could play with the fabric that was feeding through. She also liked the vibration and would "hum" along with my machine. Gee...I miss that cat!!!

Pretty kitty! Congrats that you've been adopted!
Same thing happened to me. He became a wonderful pet. Turns out he was fixed, and also asked to go out for duties.
Enjoy!

Give him a name and you will have given him a home. Call him "Squatter" after all he moved in without being asked! LOL!

He is soooo cute and he chose the right house to keep coming back too. He's no dummy, he knows where nice people live. Have fun with him, I could already tell he is making himself at home, LOL.

Do you have a window seat perch?? Cats love to be able to look out a window. It is something I would invest in for this cutie pie !!

Evict him? you can't do that! He/she just wants a safe place, seems like the kitty feels safe in your sewing room.
