Congratulations - it was my 47th on the 28th, but sadly we divorced in 2001. You still don't forget though, do you?

Happy Anniversary!! Commitment is what it's all about!! I think maybe people go into marriage with a different attitude these days when divorce is so prevalent. I told my DH when we got married that I didn't believe in divorce - but if he didn't behave I could see myself being a widow. It was my idea of a joke at the time to let him know I was in it for the long haul. 22 years later I hope to have him around for many more years to come! 49 years is very impressive - hope you have many more!

Congratulations! I'm always so much more pleased to hear about real folks who CAN stay married and committed opposed to celebs who can't seem to last for even a year.
