I really enjoyed this one. Still laughing. Thanks for the brightening of my day.

When I was little I thought macaroni grew on trees in foreign lands and had to be picked like nuts - have no idea where that came from!

When I was little I thought the sound made by playing a xylophone -those big concert ones - was really someone playing a tune on a lamp-post......why I don't know. And we were always told not to hold a guinea pig up by its tail as its eyes would fall out. (Guinea pigs have no tails but that didn't seem to matter!)

When I was five, I was in a car accident and needed stitches in my head. They wrapped me in a sheet and covered my face. Because of that childhood song.."they wrap you up in a big white sheet... I was sure they were going to bury me alive. My mother said they could hear me screaming "I'm not dead" all over the hospital.

I was told as a child not to crack open and eat peach pits because a peach tree would grow out of the top of my head!
