Thanks for posting. I think a lot of us came to quilting from painting and I am glad to see someone revert to a former pleasure. I am getting up there in age and have not painted in years, but still have all my oils, watercolors and brushes. What am I thinking???

I use acrylics and have also had the tubes for several years. Some are no longer useable, but most have a surprisingly long shelf life. I actually sewed first, then started painting. Got back into sewing, pretty much exclusively. Both are time eaters, but I think sewing/quilting is more time intensive.

I enjoy both, and hope to for a long time.

Thanks. Kind of looks washed out....maybe more muted is a better term.
