A few days ago I posted the "before" pics of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree before it was lit up. Today Emi had half a day in school and after I picked him up we went back down to get the "after" pictures.

Yesterday I was sitting with me talking and she said to me something very true. When I do find a job I am going to be bored. Ever since we moved back to NYC I have been on the road almost every day. No matter where I am invited, where there is something to see, I am in. Jorge tends to stay home but I just go with the kids. I want them to experience NYC as it is, so that when I am working, if we can't go out much because of work, at least they have already seen it. Today we went to Macy's, walked Times Square and Rockefeller Center again.

Emi couldn't get enough Smurfs on his arms

New York is definitely beautiful this time of the year. It has been many years since I was there, but remember the windows at Macy's being delightful.

We live in Riverdale, which is the north/west part of The Bronx.

Thank-you for sharing all the pictures with us. I have never been to the city before. I would love to go someday. I doubt if I will ever get to go, so seeing these is a treat for me. Thank-You, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Maria, Way upstate, Utica. But we always got a trip in whenever we could. Love everything about it- Christmastime, hot summers, spring and fall. There is nothing like that city, absolutely nothing!! :D
