I love Hobby Lobby! We have sev here & their Corp offc is here. It is a Christian based business and have respect for their employees. They also own Mardel Christian Bookstore. They seel CD's, Teaching supplies for Churches, books on all subjects as well as fiction, Bibles, gifts and just a cool store! They close at 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Which is wonderful for their employees. After ea holiday, they do markdown their items quite a lot. I love shopping for Christmas stuff after Christmas & have gotten some great buys. lol

I went to one for the first time yesterday while waiting for them to service my car. I was specifically looking for a curved needle to do basting (they only had the really thick ones) but I did check out the fabrics. I couldn't believe the prices!! Some were a little below LQS prices, but a lot were a LOT below LQS prices. Never heard of any of the manufacturers though. Quality felt OK on the few that I fingered. Did not buy anything!!

We are getting one here in the middle of Florida soon, if the construction signs are to be believed. Can hardly wait!

I haven't been by this weekend. They usually have tables of markdowns. I have not seen an ad for their truckload sale yet, and that is the best sale ever! I'm hoping there will be one soon.

I came near there today going from Maine to Western Ma. I wish we had something other than Jo Anns.

Hobby Lobby is a great store. I used to shop at one in CO Springs, and then the new one in Meridian, ID. Now I'm in Raleigh, NC, and there isn't one out here. There is one in Charlotte, so next time we go down there, I'll have to make sure it's not a Sunday. When we used to exchange XMAS themed gifts with family, I'd buy them after XMAS and store until gift-giving time the following year. Great bargains.

I have been a couple of time to Hobby Lobby as it is down the road from me. I love the store and so beautifully laid out. Sat. when I was there I found that they sell stained glass sheets that really surprised me as I have never seen that in any other stores. I think they are going to do very well. Not much advertising has been done so word of mouth is the thing.

Happy 4th of July to everyone.
