Does anyone have anything to say about the Handi Quilter II frame? I haven't room for a large frame and at this point I don't want to invest in an expensive table, etc. Thinking this might we a good way to try out the mid-arm quilting process. Actually I don't know enough to know what to ask and what not to be concerned about.

You need to go sew on the machine to learn for yourself how you like it and whether any part of it bothers you. All long arms are different, and they all have some quirks. The cheaper table definitely vibrates. The more you expand the table the worse it is. I hated it, it does not bother my friend who has the same setup. The supporting leg you can purchase is worthless. Do not waste your money buying--use a pile of books instead.
