My greatest joy is my children, their children and their children's children. I am now beginning to get several new great grandchildren and don't remember when I have felt more joy than when holding one of them. One grandson and his wife have been fighting infertility and after 4 years of "trying" they are expecting in October. I'm doing my happy dance

Birds singing and flying round in trees. Real spring bulbs popping through in lovely bright colours. The joke spring in the snow made me laugh.
a dog or cat that snuggles for affection.

Wow, every single one of these joy stories either brought a smile to my face, a shake to my head, or a blinky tear to my eye. I see that we all are grateful for the gift of life. I dare say that I am full of wonder and joy too. I wish you all "joy" forever.

Barbshobbies

Pure joy when I know all my kids are home with their families, that means grand kids & great grand kids, then I go out to the barn and feed my animals, Cats, Mini horse, fainting goats,chickens, (one hen is 11 years old, & I have to cut up grapes every day for her, because she can`t chew so good or see either, then pick up eggs. All this only takes a little while, and then I come in to play with the captin , a rat terrier that no body wanted, and is our best friens.

I'm thankful for this post. It is a reminder to be thankful for all the good and wonderful things in my life. There are many. It is a reminder to not take for granted those we love, and our good fortune in being able to live the lives we choose. I'm thankful for my husband, children and grandchildren. I'm thankful for a good job and comfortable home. I'm thankful that my health is still good, and that I can pursue my hobbies ie; quilting, baking homemade sourdough bread, reading good books, planting and harvesting vegetables in my garden, and playing my piano. I'm thankful for our kitty rescues. One we have had 16 yrs. The other two for a couple of months. They bring much joy and entertainment to our lives.
