I bought my DS and DDIL tickets to fly here. We haven't spent a Christmas with them for four years..this would have been the fifth! They've never seen our new home. The time will fly by, but it will so worth it! :-)

My Husband and I bought a new king size mattress and box springs and a new TV. So that is it for a while. We just slept in the new bed for two nights and what a difference. Old TV had spots coming on it for a long time and then all of a sudden it got quilting grids on it when you turned it on. You had to turn it off and then on again and the quilting grids would be gone.

I bought myself a Babylock Ovation Serger, hubby got a 70" LED television. Last Year I bought myself a Babylock 10 needle embroidery machine and hubby told me it was my gift for the next few years. Yea right! He got golf clubs, I think I got the better deal. We pay cash for everything and are able to get good deals. We are retired and earned money that we now enjoy spending on our hobbies and charity work.

I bought myself a Quilting Retreat in January. Marti Michele will be there, so I also purchased her new book and templates for the retreat. Of course, that may mean fabric too!

DH gave me an early gift this year - he found a Singer Rocketeer for me! It didn't come with any feet, cams or the manual and he won't be buying those things for me, so now I'm spooking around in local thrift & charity shops hunting for treasure. I know I could find these things on eBay much quicker but I don't like eBay and I'm really enjoying the hunt. I love thrift/charity shops, you just never know what treasures you'll find! Funny thing is that before this I was looking for bits for my 99K and not finding anything...now that I'm hunting for Rocketeer accessories I'm finding all sorts of stuff for my 99K! I got a zigzagger, a buttonholer, and a box of feet for $20 (2 different shops).

I bought myself a 17" rotating self-healing rotary mat from Craftsy on Cyber Monday. Free Shipping, too. It stumped my husband when it came shipped in a big square box!!! Anxious to use it. Merry Christmas to all.

Fabric but not for quilting, enough linen to make 3-4 pairs of summer pants. I'm waiting for my color to go on sale at Fabric-store.com. I keep waffling on buying a walking foot.

We usually agree on one big item we would like - but this year I did step out and get a 10" Tablet that I can also take up to my sewing room and watch sewing videos on or to the kitchen for cooking videos and recipes - and don't need to take the lap top everywhere unless there is something else I need.
