Yes, that is a Flowering Plum. We have them here in NV. They are beautiful. Mine have already bloomed and have fallen off. The leaves are coming out now. I wish the blooms lasted longer.

What a beautiful day you had! And you have sunshine! We have rain, thunder, more rain and downpours. Wakes me up at night raining so hard. To noisy! I found a tulip in my yard today! Maybe there will be flowers soon.

ShemJo--my last day is June 25... so far away.

Celeste--I had taken my camera and cell phone to the pasture--cell because both kids had texted and I didn't want to miss one. I was also working with the foals--just loving on them and getting them friendly. Once Mazie fell asleep, I was stuck. Mark was away cutting wood, so I decided to try to get pics. It worked if I stretched my arm as far as I could! Then I remembered my cell was in my pocket. I sent photos to many on on my cell phone list. It felt kind of funny sitting in the pasture with a foal napping in my lap--taking pictures of it and sending them to others. These are high tech days.
