Default trip to Ireland and overnight in London

my daughter is fortunate enough to be working at an organic eco-tourism place ( Boghill Centre) in July.
She gets to Shannon on the 26th of June and overnights in London on August 5. We were wondering if any of our board members are from or familiar enough with County Clare and London to make suggestions on a places to stay.

I am jealous. We took a self-tour of Ireland and London in 2006. Best trip we have ever taken. Ireland has a website that inspects and ranks their bed & breakfast inns. I think the B&Bs are great. The breakfast they serve lasts all day.
